Jeez. What a day. I skipped work to go to the A-League season launch for media at AAMI Park. Not entirely sure why I’m classified as “media” all of a sudden, but not complaining!

Got to go into a fancy room (Olympic Room) upstairs to see Ange Postecoglou, Aloisi, and AUFC/Brisbane/Perth reps being interviewed on the stage by Adam Peacock. Then we walked onto the pitch at AAMI Park for a gigantic photoshoot in front of the huge inflatable We Are Football balloon.

Adrian Leijer and Marcos Flores were there for MVFC, Fred for Heart. Everyone started interviewing them on the pitch, I was technically allowed to, but didn’t bother as I dunno what I’d do with the transcript! Got pretty close to Leijer/Flores and took some great photos though.

FUCK, he is handsome. A man sculpted by the gods themselves, no doubt.

First thing I thought when I saw this was…why is that guy standing inside the roof of AAMI Park stadium????
