Well, can’t agree with the “best city in the world” part, as that clearly belongs to Melbourne. But this is fuckin huge!!

I know I’m getting overly excited about this as a MVFC fan, but can you believe a football legend like Alessandro Del Piero just chose Sydney fucking FC over the likes of Liverpool and Celtic FC?

He may be 38, he may be coming partly for the lifestyle/weather of Australia, but this is the biggest signing in Australian football history. And he seems genuinely eager to create a legacy in Sydney and the A-League.

Sydney FC really do some decent tifos, sometimes.

Hope to see more of this shit with ALESSANDRO FUCKING DEL PIERO on board in Sydney.
